Forget saggy hems and off the shoulder sloppy sweatshirts! Many people are uncomfortable with making the first cut on a sweatshirt, but you can learn the tricks to make your finished garment look great! Get all the secrets of basic conversion for refashioning a plain sweatshirt into a fashion statement you'll be proud to wear! We spend class time with fitting each individual's body type, which may be the most fun part of the class. We use the Fabric Cafe basic jacket conversion pattern and many students finish the conversion during class. Then we'll give you lots of ideas for embellishing your finished jacket. Basic Sweatshirt

Those who choose to bring their own material and not purchase the kit can buy individual items at the prices above. Students should also bring the following items: Sewing machine Most students complete the jacket conversion and their completed un-embellished masterpiece is ready to wear, but if they prefer, they can select from a variety of embellishment options that we will show. Some embellishment kits will be available for purchase and prices will vary according to content of embellishment kit. Class fees
