The fine pin point permits accurate drawing of both straight lines and freehand curves
My favorite way of marking fabric is chalk. It is easy on the fabric and washes out every time. The secret to using chalk is to mist your chalk marks with spray starch after you mark your fabric. The chalk will stay put till you finishing making your item. then either launder or wipe away the chalk lines. The very fine, tapered point makes lines right up against a straight edge and creates marks that are more visible.
