These 3 yard quilts are fabulous. Either for beginners or experts. I always suggest step up as a first quilt project. Less matching of seams and great instructions.  Truly a game changer for me when I first starter quilting.  Block quilts were a nightmare for me & really discouraged me from quilting. Till I found 3 yard quilt patterns. Not everyone learns the same. Simple & Easy are only that depending on one's knowledge. What may seem straightforward to one person might appear complex to another.
