I originally chose this kit because blue roses (and orchids) are one of my favorite flowers; and, in all of my 59 years of sewing, I have yet to make a quilt for myself. Granted, this kit was my second choice, but it will still make a beautiful quilt. My first choice was. the blue rose with yellow flowers, but that was sold out by the time I  had enough money squirreled away to purchase for myself.
